There are two ways you can add machines, create a new machine individually or create a machine from a Machine Template.
Adding a Machine Individually
How to Add a Machine
Go to the Assets module and click on the Machines tab.
Click the "Add a Machine" button on the top right corner of the page.
Be default “Create New Machine” is selected. If not please select “Create New Machine”
Fill in the required information,
Name (required): A name for the machine.
Serial Number (required): Add a unique serial number for the machine. Please note that no two machines can have the same serial number.
Facility (optional): Choose a facility to whom the machine is to be assigned. The machine can only be assigned to one facility and you can change the facility at any time.
Machine Description (optional): Add additional information about the machine. This description will be visible to the facility when the machine is assigned to it.
Upload an image for the machine. If no image is uploaded, we will show the company logo as the machine image.
Click "Submit New Machine" to create the machine.
A new machine will be added to the Machine list page.
Adding a Machine using Machine Template
Adding a new machine using Machine Template will also add the documents and the image uploaded for the template to the new machine.

Go to the Assets module and click on the Machines tab.

Select “Create New Machine From Template”
Fill in the required information,
Template: Choose a template from which you want to create a machine
Name (required): A name for the machine. If left empty, the template name will be used as the machine name.
Serial Number (required): Add a unique serial number for the machine. No two machines can have the same serial number.
Facility (optional): Choose a facility to whom the machine is to be assigned.
Click "Submit New Machine" to create the machine.
A new machine will be added to the Machine list page. A machine created from the machine template will have the template name tag to indicate that it was created from the machine template.
