Editing Machine Details

Open a machine for which you want to edit the details.
On the machine detail page and in the Overview tab click on the “Edit” pencil icon.
You can update the following information
- Image: You can delete or replace the machine image. If there is no image for the machine, you can upload a new image. You can adjust the image dimensions during the upload.
- Machine Name: Update the name of the machine.
- Serial Number: Update the machine serial number. Make sure you add a unique serial number that does not already exist on the platform.
- Facility: Assign or un-assign the machine from the facility.
- QR Code Access: Give Access/No Access to the machine QR code. If access is given then the user can directly open the machine detail page after completing QR code scanning. To know more about how the QR code works, please see the LINK QR CODE ARTICLE HERE
Click on “Update” to save the information for the machine.

Deleting Machine

You can delete the machine in two ways

Go to “Assets” > “Machines” tab and find or search the machine you want to delete.
Click on the “Bin” icon with the machine serial number.
Confirm on the pop-up to delete the machine. Please note that it is an irreversible action and the machine will be permanently deleted from the platform.

Go to “Assets” > “Machines” tab and open a machine detail page you want to delete.
In the Overview section, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the Edit machine detail pop-up.
In the pop-up, you can delete the machine by clicking “Delete Machine”.
Confirm on the pop-up to delete the machine. Please note that it is an irreversible action and the machine will be permanently deleted from the platform.
