You can assign components to the machines in two ways
Assign Components to Machine from Component Detail Page
Navigate to “Assets” > “Components” and open the component that you want to assign to the machine.
In the “General Information” tab of the detail page, click on the “Edit” pencil icon to open the Edit Component Detail pop-up.
In the Edit window, select the machine to which you want to assign the component to be assigned.
You can assign one component to only one machine.
If the component is assigned to a machine, it cannot be assigned to another machine at the same time.
You can also assign the component to another machine by selecting a new machine from the “Machine” dropdown.
Click on the “Update” to save the changes.
Assign Components to Machine from Machine Detail Page
Navigate to “Assets” > “Machines” and open the Machine to which you want to assign the component(s).
In the “Component” tab of the detail page, click on the “+ Assign components” to open the pop-up window to select from the available components on the platform. Only components that are not assigned to other machines will be shown.
You can select single or multiple available components to assign to the machine.
Click on the “Assign components” button to assign the component(s) to the machine.
