The Recruitment page allows you to customize an online registration form to recruit participants and invite parents to follow their child's progress with their very own account.
This is a great tool to use if you don't know who would like to participate in an in-person or a virtual club.
1. Customize the recruitment page
The customized form allows you to edit all the information and add details about your program.
When customizing your message, consider all the information you need the parents to know. (Who, what, when, where, etc.)
You can preview your page and Save it when it's finalized.
2. Share your recruitment page
Your customized form can be shared online, printed, or emailed directly to parents/guardians to enroll their child into your club.
Select the Share Online button.
Copy the URL and paste it into your promotional outlets like newsletters, emails, websites, etc.
Print and Share
This option allows you to print the form as a pdf and share it with parents/guardians.
You will need to manually enter those participants once they return their completed forms.
Type in the parent's first name, last name, and email. Then click Invite.
The platform sends the email which includes the link to the recruitment form.
What happens when a parent fills out the form?
You will receive an email notifying you that a participant is waiting to be added.
You will need to enroll these participants by:
Clicking on the Club Details tab
Then clicking on the Parents tab
Filter the table by Recruit status.
Click on the word Recruited in the status column of the row of the new participant.
Parents have the option of creating their own Marathon Kids account so they can follow their child's progress and even submit miles completed at home to you.
Once you have added or matched your new participants they are ready to get active with you!
