Map Tools

You can control the map in Matidor using the control buttons on the bottom right corner of the map.

Drawing tool

You can draw on the map using the drawing tool. Note that this tool is only available after you opened a project. See more on Map Drawings.

Measurement tool

You can measure a distance or an area using the measure tool.

  • Select one of the measurement tapes to enter the measurement mode.

    • Click on the map to start measuring.

    • Click on the map again to mark vertices.

    • Double-click on the map to end the measuring.

    • Repeat the above to create multiple measurements.

  • When you are done, click on to exit the measurement mode.

  • Click on to clear the measurements.

Lasso tool

You can select a group of projects or map drawing using the lasso tool. Then you can

  • Edit the drawings.

  • Export the drawings.

Base Maps

You can change the base map using the base map menu.

Map Layers

You can show/hide the various map layers using the map layers menu. See more on Map Layers.

Zoom tools

You can zoom in and out the map using the zoom buttons, or simply scroll-in/out using the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Map search tool

You can find a location on the map using the map search tool.
