You can see a list of map layers available when you open the layers panel.

Inside the Map layers panel, you will see the layers uploaded to the Workspace, a.k.a. Workspace layers, and the layers uploaded to the Project, a.k.a. Project layers. The project layers only show up after you open a project.

  • Click on the eye icon to show/hide the layer on the map.

  • Click on the layer name with an arrow to see the details or sub-layers.

You can import layers to the workspace, or to a specific project, using the import layer tool. Matidor supports the following layer types:

  • WMS

  • KML/KMZ

  • Shapefile (SHP)

  • Spreadsheet (only for project layers)

To import a layer:

  • Click on the options menu besides “Workspace layers” or “Project layers”.

  • Click on Import layer.

  • Provide a layer name.

  • Choose one of the layer types.

  • Upload the layer file, or if enter the URL if the type is WMS.

Workspace Managers can import layers to the workspace or projects. Project Manager and Guest Manager can import layers only to projects.

Arranging layers

You can re-arrange the position of the layers, or add a new layer group.

  • Click on the options menu besides “Workspace layers” or “Project layers”.

  • Click on Arrange layers.

Workspace Managers can arrange workspace and project layers. Project Manager and Guest Manager can arrange only project layers.
