After you open a project, you may add drawings to the map by using the drawing tool or by adding work with location enabled.
Drawing using drawing tool
You can find the drawing tool on the right side of the map, along with other map controls.
Select one of the drawing shapes.
Click on the map to start drawing. Tip: You can draw multiple objects.
Set the style, label and tag from the drawing edit panel.
Click save when done.
Adding work with location
Certain type of work requires you to specify a location. Refer to Templates to see how to enable location for work templates.
Add a work that requires a location. You can tell if the work has a drawing style assigned.
The drawing mode will appear for you to draw on the map.
Continue filling in the work form.
Save when done.
Exporting drawings
Drawings can be exported into KMZ or Excel files:
Open the Layer panel, and click on the expand button next to Drawings
Select the drawings you want to export, then click on ... menu and Export:
In the Export screen, you can customize how the data is organized in the final KMZ output:
Subproject drawings
You can also see the drawings from subprojects (if any) of the current project. Open the layer panel and enable the subprojects which you want to see the drawings from.
You cannot directly select or edit a subproject’s drawings from its parent, but you can open the subproject itself to edit the drawings.
