User roles and permissions

Workspace users are assigned with one of the following roles:

  • Workspace Manager

  • Project Manager

  • Project Contributor

  • Guest Manager

  • Guest Contributor

  • Guest Viewer

Below is a summary of the permission, followed by a detailed explanation of what each role can do.

Managing Users

You can manage workspace users in Settings → User Management.

Regular (non-guest) users can access all projects in the workspace, and guest users can only access the ones that are shared with them.

To add workspace users:

  1. Click the add user button

  2. Enter one or more email addresses of the people you want to invite

  3. Choose a role

  4. If the selected role is a guest role, you may choose which project(s) to share with them at this time or later. See more on Sharing with Guests.

  5. Click Add

Matidor will then send out invitation emails to the invited persons, where they can follow the link included in the invitation to sign-in or create a new account to join your workspace.
