Overview
This feature is used in combination with the appointments feature in Follow Up Boss. Anytime an appointment ends in FUB, we send a series of messages to gather information from the agent about the appointment such as the outcome of the appointment and what the stage the lead should be moved to in order to ensure proper follow up. Setting up your Appointment Outcome Messaging
To get started, hover over your profile avatar in the top right hand corner of your screen in MaverickRE and select Preferences. Once you've arrived on your preferences screen, navigate over to the Appointment Outcome Messaging tab.

Important Note!
If an appointment is created without specifying an appointment type, the system will default to sending a text with Buyer outcome options.
To prevent appointment outcome update texts from being sent for certain appointment types, simply ignore those types in your MaverickRE Preferences.
To get started, choose up to 6 outcomes you want to include in the text sent to your agent for both Buyer and Seller Appointments.
If you do not wish to use all 6 options, that's okay! Just choose the options that are most relevant for the appointment types you want these messages to be sent on.
Lead Stages
Next, go to the 'Stages' tab to choose up to 6 stages for both Buyer and Seller Appointments that want included in the text sent to your agent. Please note: The agent will also always be presented with the option to leave the lead in it's current stage as a default.
Attention! If you are receiving Zillow Flex leads, the stage options that are sent to agents as part of the Appointment Outcome Texting feature for Zillow Flex leads specifically:
For Buyer type appointments:
Nurture
Showing Homes
Submitting Offers
Under Contract
Leave in stage - Met with customer and just add notes
For Seller type appointments:
Listing Agreement
Nurture
Leave in stage - Appointment Set and just add notes
PLEASE NOTE: The options you see for appointment outcomes and stages are directly sourced from your Follow Up Boss account. If you're curious about adding new outcomes or stages, feel free to check out the following articles for a helpful guide on how to do it in FUB:
Once you've added those stages/outcomes in FUB, they will sync into your MaverickRE account preferences within a few minutes!
Enabling Appointment Outcome Messaging
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you enable this messaging feature, your agents will begin receiving text notifications for appointments that ended within the last 2 days!
We strongly recommend letting your agents know prior to turning on this feature as to avoid any confusion and prevent them from blocking the numbers used to text them.
Once you've made your appointment outcome and stage selections, it's time to turn on your appointment outcome messaging, hooray!
As a default, the appointment outcome messaging is turned off (No). To turn your messaging on, change the selection from No to Yes, then select save.
