Overview
Each Maxanet auction has several built-in reports available as downloads: a Sales Tax Report, an Items Report, an Items Without Bids Report, plus Excel exports for the full items list and all invoice data. These reports are accessed from either the black Menu button on the auction dashboard or from the Items and Invoices tabs directly.
Reports available from the auction dashboard Menu
From your Maxanet Admin panel, click the auction title to enter the auction dashboard. Near the upper-right section of the dashboard is a black Menu button — click it to see these report download options:
Download Sales Tax Report — sales tax summary for the auction, useful for tax filing
Download Items Report — full list of every item in the auction with details
Download Items Without Bids Report — only items that received no bids, useful for relisting decisions
Items tab — Excel export of items
Every auction's Items tab has a teal Lot Actions button with a Download to Excel option. This downloads the full items list in Maxanet's Excel bulk-upload template format — useful for editing in Excel and re-uploading, or for external reporting.
Invoices tab — Excel export of all invoices
The Invoices tab has a teal Export button near the top that downloads every invoice in the auction (including line items, fees, and totals) as an Excel file. Useful for accounting, analytics, or external invoicing workflows.
Common questions
Where do I find the auction Menu button?
Upper-right area of the auction dashboard page (not the Items or Invoices tabs). It's a black button with a menu icon.
Does the Items Report include unsold items?
Yes. The Items Report includes every item regardless of bid status. Use the separate Items Without Bids Report if you specifically want no-bid items only.
What format is the Excel export in?
Standard .xlsx format, compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and LibreOffice Calc.
Can I export all invoices across all auctions at once?
Per-auction export is the current option. For cross-auction reporting, export each auction separately and combine in Excel.
