Overview
Maxanet lets you mark inventory items as Picked Up or Shipped with full metadata — pickup date, picked-by name, tracking number, courier service, and notes — directly from the Items tab. You can filter by a specific bidder, by bid status, or by paid status first, then bulk-apply pickup or shipping info using Group Actions. The Items tab, not the Invoices tab, is where pickup and shipping fulfillment is recorded.
How to filter items down to a specific bidder or status
From your Maxanet auction dashboard, open the Items tab. Click the grey Filter button at the top of the Items list. The Filter panel lets you narrow results by a specific bidder (useful when you're processing pickup for one person), by Bid Status (items with bids, no bids), or by paid status (Fully Paid, etc.). Apply the filter to shrink the list to just the items you want to update.
How to mark filtered items as Picked Up
With the items filtered down, check the boxes on the items you want to mark picked up (or use select-all). Click the Group Actions button and choose Manage Pickup Info. Fill in the Pickup Date, the Picked By name (who collected the items), and any Notes you want saved. Save to apply the pickup info to every selected item at once.
How to mark items as Shipped with a tracking number
Same filter and select workflow: once items are selected, click Group Actions and choose Manage Shipping Info. Fill in the Shipped Date, the Tracking Number, the Courier Service (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), and optional Notes. Save to apply the shipping info to every selected item at once. The tracking number is stored with the item so you can reference it from reports or bidder inquiries.
How to remove pickup or shipping info from items
Use the same Group Actions menu — select the items, click Group Actions, and choose Delete Shipping/Pickup Info. This removes any previously entered pickup or shipping metadata from the selected items.
Common questions
Can I mark items picked up in bulk for one bidder at a time?
Yes. Use the Filter to narrow the Items tab to a single bidder, select all their items, and apply Manage Pickup Info in one batch.
What courier options are supported in the shipping info?
The Courier field accepts any entry — UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, or whatever you use. Tracking numbers are stored as text so any format works.
Do bidders see the tracking number on their invoice?
The tracking number is stored with the item in the admin panel. Whether bidders see it depends on your invoice configuration — check Invoice Configuration for shipping info display options.
Can I remove the picked-up flag if I made a mistake?
Yes. Select the item and use Group Actions → Delete Shipping/Pickup Info to clear the metadata.
