🧩 How to Set Up Google Merchant Feeds through Mayple app

πŸ“¦ What are Google Merchant Feeds?

Google Merchant Feeds allow you to sync your Shopify product listings with Google Merchant Center so your products can appear in free listings and Shopping ads across Google.

With the Mayple app, there’s no need to manually upload product data, your catalog is automatically synced and kept up to date.


πŸ”— Step-by-Step: Connect Google Merchant Feeds

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.

  2. Open the Mayple app from your Apps section.

  3. In the left-hand menu, go to Marketing > Google Merchant Feeds.

  4. Click the Connect with Google button.

  5. Sign in using your Google account that has access to your Google Merchant Center.

  6. Allow the necessary permissions.

Once connected, Mayple will:

  • Automatically pull your product data from Shopify

  • Format it to meet Google Merchant Center requirements

  • Sync your feed on a regular schedule

⚠️ Heads up! If any data is missing or invalid, you’ll see an alert with details on what needs fixing.


βœ… Select Products for Sync

  1. Click Go to Shopify bulk editor.

  2. You’ll be redirected to your Shopify Product Variant Bulk Editor.

  3. Enable the Google Feed checkbox next to the products you want to sync.

  4. Click Save to update your feed in Google Merchant Center.


🌍 Monitor Sync by Region

Your products are grouped by region (e.g., North America, Europe, Asia). Here's how to monitor sync status:

  • Scroll down to the Country section.

  • Use the dropdowns to see product counts per region.

  • Each region will display the number of synced products under Mayple.

Click the Open Google Merchant Center button to view your dashboard.

From there, you can track:

  • Active listings

  • Disapproved products and related issues

  • Diagnostics and performance data


πŸ”„ Disconnect If Needed

If you want to stop syncing your product data, click Disconnect within the Mayple app.


πŸ“ Final Notes

Once connected, your products may appear in free Google listings, no resubmission needed unless you update them in Shopify.
