Cancelling an order may be necessary for various reasons, such as customer requests or inventory issues. This guide will walk you through the steps to cancel an order both in Shopify and the Mayple app, ensuring a smooth process for you and your customers.


Cancelling an Order in Shopify

  1. Access the Orders Section: Log in to your Shopify admin panel and navigate to the Orders section in the left sidebar.

  2. Select the Order: Find and select the order you wish to cancel from the list.

  3. Open More Actions: In the upper right-hand corner of the order details page, click on the More Actions dropdown menu.

  4. Choose Cancel Order: Select Cancel Order from the menu options.

  5. Provide a Reason: You’ll be prompted to choose a reason for the cancellation. Additionally, you can check the boxes to restock inventory and notify the customer about the cancellation.

  6. Confirm the Cancellation: Click on Cancel Order to finalize the process.

Make sure cancellation is reflected on the Shopify timeline for confirmation that the order has been successfully cancelled.


Cancelling an Order in the Mayple App

  1. Open the Mayple App: Launch the Mayple app on your device.

  2. Locate the Order: Use the search feature to find the specific order you want to cancel.

  3. View Order Details: Click on the order to view its detailed information.

  4. Select Cancel Order: Click on the Cancel Order button to initiate the cancellation process.
