The law on yearly amount limits regarding the Legal Mobility Budget has changed. As of January 1st, its minimum yearly amount will be 3.233€ (269,41€/month) and its maximum yearly amount will be 17.244€ (1.437€/month).
📣 What does this mean for you?
A Legal Mobility Budget lower than 3.233€ will need to be raised to this amount
A Legal Mobility Budget higher than 17.244€ will need to be lowered to this amount
A TCO higher than the previous maximum of 16.875€ can potentially be raised in 2026 to the new maximum amount of 17.244€.
The new numbers will need to be updated in the Mbrella platform.
🚨 Reminder: On January 1st, make sure that none of your employees has a Legal Mobility Budget higher than 1/5 of their total gross salary.
Total gross pay includes:
- The actual gross pay for full-time employment;
- Pay for overtime and public holidays;
- Mobility bonuses;
- Bonuses (13th month, CLA90), commissions, allowances and tips
- Severance pay and severance pay
- Employer insurance contributions
- Meal and eco cheques
- VAA of company car, mobile phone, laptop, etc.
- Guaranteed salary
⚠️The calculation is made for a ‘potential’ total gross wage. So full potential bonuses can be taken into account.The calculation is also done based on a full time regime (without absents, sickness etc.).
Not:
Holiday pay (single and double), shares, work accident allowances,
supplementary allowances for pensions and social subscriptions
