What can I pay with Mbrella Pay?
It's easy to use with all flexible mobility providers within the EER!

What do we mean by flexible mobility?
Public mobility
National public transports
International public transport (Thalys / Eurostar/ ...)
A ticket to England will not work since it's not part of the EER!
Shared mobility
Shared car solutions (Poppy / Miles / Cambio/ ...)
Steps and electric bike (Dott / Bolt / Poppy / ...)
Classic Taxi
New taxi solutions (Uber / Bolt / Heetch/ ...)
Parking.
Be careful if you are using your card in the context of the legal mobility budget, then it will not work since it's not allowed in the legislation of the federal mobility budget.
Others
Fuel; Charging; Tolls and Bridge Fees. Be careful if you are using your card in the context of the legal mobility budget, then it will not work since it's not allowed in the legislation of the federal mobility budget.
What can’t you use the card for?
Expenses that take a big security deposit (bigger than the available budget). Such as car rental companies or fuel stations.
Freight transport (no person transport); Towing Services (not allowed in the legal budget, just like fines); Car repairs, motorcycle shops and dealers, automative parts,… (not allowed in the legal budget); Fuel/service stations - With or without Ancillary Services
The card only works with merchants that just sell mobility. For instance, you cannot buy a bike in a bike store with it. Manually add an expense on Mbrella for these purchases. Examples of merchants that will be declined:
Decathlon
Local bike shop
Cowboy bikes webshop
Uber Eats

The card does not work with Apple Pay or Google Pay
Is your card not working?
Make sure you're not using Mbrella Pay card for one of the expense categories mentioned above.
Check with your HR team if your Mbrella Pay card isn't blocked during weekends and holidays.
Make sure you activated
⚠️ Contactless is not activated when you receive your card! You will first need to do a first payment through a payment terminal with your PIN code
⚠️ The first payment can't be made on an SNCB/NMBS payment terminal, you will need to do it on another mobility service (after this the card will work an SNCB/NMBS terminal)
