Scanning multiple products at checkout? The "Show line items on scan" setting keeps your cart visible the entire time you're scanning, so you can confirm every item as it's added.
By default, scanning a product at POS adds it to the cart but stays on the product grid. With this setting enabled, scanning opens a persistent cart view that stays on screen. Every subsequent scan returns to this view, giving you a running tally of what's been added.
How to enable
On the iPad, open App Settings
Toggle on "Show line items on scan"
That's it. The next time you scan a product, the cart view opens automatically.
How it works
When you scan a product, a cart view opens showing all line items currently in the order
The view stays open persistently — every additional scan adds the item and returns to this view
Click "Close" to go back to the normal product grid view
Click "Clear" to remove everything from the cart

Common questions
Does this setting apply to all iPads or just one?
The setting is per iPad. Enable it on each device where you want the persistent cart view.
Can I still use POS normally with this setting on?
Yes. Click "Close" on the cart view at any time to return to the normal product grid. The setting only changes what happens when you scan — everything else works the same.
Does this work with both barcode scanners and the iPad camera?
Yes. Any scan that adds a product to the cart will trigger the persistent cart view.
