Before You Start
⚠️ Important: The Nexgo Quantum terminal must be fully charged before first use. Plug it in and let it charge completely before setup. Once it's charged and powered on, the terminal shows a green light — that means it's ready to use.
Set Up Your Nexgo Quantum Terminal
Step 1: Turn On & Connect to Wi-Fi
Hold the power button until the screen lights up.
Wait for the terminal to fully power on.
Swipe down on the screen and tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon.
Connect to your store's Wi-Fi network.
From the home screen, tap Quantum.
Step 2: Switching From a Different Integrated Terminal? (Optional)
Only needed if this iPad was connected to a different payment terminal before. For a brand-new setup, skip to Step 3 — the Quantum doesn't need Bluetooth pairing.
In Meadow's Debit Terminal settings, tap Forget on the old terminal.
On your iPad, go to Settings → Bluetooth and forget the old terminal there too.
Step 3: Connect the Terminal to Meadow
On your Meadow POS, scroll down the toolbar and select Debit Terminal.
Tap Debit Terminals, then choose Nexgo (Quantum).
Tap Terminal.
Select your terminal from the list. Your terminal number is on the sticker on the back of the device (S/N, starting with N82 — e.g. N82XXXXXXX). Tap the matching number.
Tap Find.
💡 Tip: Don't see your terminal number in the list? Contact the Nexgo Quantum team — they'll activate your terminal so it appears.
When it connects successfully, you'll see a "Successfully connected" message.
Running a Card Payment
Select "Debit" as the payment type on your Meadow POS.
Tap "Get Payment."
Run the customer's card on the Nexgo Quantum terminal.
Once the transaction is approved, tap "Finalize Payment" on Meadow.
Troubleshooting
Terminal Won't Turn On or Isn't Ready
The Nexgo Quantum can't be used until it shows a green light. If you don't see the green light, the terminal needs more charging. Plug it in and wait until the green light comes on before setup or taking payments.
Terminal Won't Connect to Meadow
Make sure the terminal is connected to Wi-Fi (swipe down to check).
In Meadow, confirm you selected the correct terminal number — it must match the S/N on the back sticker (starts with N82).
If your terminal number doesn't appear in the list, contact the Nexgo Quantum team to activate it.
Try tapping Forget in Meadow's Debit Terminal settings, then select your terminal again and tap Find.
Transaction Failing or Not Going Through
Confirm the terminal is powered on and ready (green light).
Check your Wi-Fi connection — the terminal needs internet access to process payments.
Try restarting the terminal (power off completely, then power back on).
If issues persist, contact the Nexgo Quantum team for support.
Terminal Frozen or Unresponsive
Soft restart: Press and hold the power button until the terminal restarts.
If the terminal is completely frozen, let the battery drain, then charge and restart.
Contact the Nexgo Quantum team if the issue continues.
