This guide walks you through how to fully disconnect your Nexgo N82 or N96 payment terminal from Meadow POS. Use this when you're replacing a terminal, switching payment processors, or no longer using integrated payments at a location.
Step 1š Remove the Terminal from Meadow POS
On your Meadow POS, scroll down the toolbar and select Debit Terminal.
Tap Debit Terminals, then choose Nexgo.
If you see the Successfully found terminal ID screen, tap Forget.
Delete the information in each of the following fields so they are blank:
POS TID
Token (POS Key)
Terminal TID
ā
ļ¼Once a terminal is connected, it stays connected until you tap Forget, so make sure you complete this step.
ā
Step 2š„ļø Check Your Meadow Admin Payment Settings
Log in to Meadow Admin and go to Settings > Integrations > Payments (admin.getmeadow.com/settings/integrations/payments).
Confirm that no Nexgo (PayAuth) terminal information remains on this page.
Next, go to Settings > Payments and edit your payment type to remove any payment fees. Fees will be added to the total by the payment processing terminal.
Step 3š¶ Disconnect Bluetooth on Your iPad
On your iPad, open Settings > Bluetooth.
Find N82 (or N96) in the list of devices.
Tap the ā icon next to it, then tap Forget This Device.
Confirm the terminal no longer appears as connected.
ā You're All Set
Your Nexgo terminal is now disconnected from Meadow. If you're switching to a new terminal, follow the setup guide here: Setting up the PayNex: Nexgo (PayAuth) Payment Terminal.
Please note: Disconnecting the terminal from Meadow does not cancel your merchant account or processing service. Please contact your payment processor directly to make any changes to your account.
