If you are a Kit user looking to set up automated emails for your Time, Date, or Rolling Drip products, this article will walk you through how to achieve this.
This is a great strategy for notifying your users when you release a new module and reminding them to go in and engage with your MV content!
For Time Drip Emails:
Make sure you have a tag set up in your MV actions. If you already have a Welcome Email automation set up, then you can use the same tag.
Create a sequence in Kit and time the emails to send out on the dates that your modules release in MemberVault.
Create a Visual Automation in Kit using your tag to trigger the start of the automation.
Add a step to deliver your email sequence.
Activate your automation, and you're all set!
For Date Drip and Rolling Drip Emails:
Make sure you have a tag set up in your MV actions. If you already have a Welcome Email automation set up, then you can use the same tag.
From here you have 2 options:
Follow the same steps as the Time Drip directions above, but wait to deliver your email drip sequence until a specific date.
To add this in your automation, select "Event" > "When a Date Occurs." Then add in your module release sequence.
Note, you may want to create two sequences here! One to deliver your welcome email right away regardless of when someone joins your product, and one to announce your module releases once the program is live!
Use Broadcasts to schedule and deliver your module release emails to your contacts who have your product tag.
