In MemberVault you can use our Actions feature to automatically remove a member's access to a product once they complete a certain task in your account (i.e. canceling a subscription).
This action is particularly useful if you have a membership or a similar type of recurring revenue offer where you want to automatically remove access to a group of products when a member cancels their subscription with you.
To set this up:
Go to "Content" > "Products" and select the pencil and paper icon next to the product you want to add your action to.
Scroll down on the product edit page to the Actions section.
Add your Action Trigger (see full list here).
Under the "Do this..." menu, select "Remove Member from Product". Note this action response may not be available for all action triggers.
Select the product you want to remove the member's access from.
Please note: You do not need to set up an action to remove their access from the product where you're creating this action! When a member cancels their subscription using our click-to-cancel feature, our system will take care of this automatically for you at the end of your member's billing window. Use this action instead if you have multiple products that your members get access to with their subscription!
Once you've set up the action, you can include any other action responses you would like, such as applying tags or sending yourself a notification:
When a member completes this action, it will also appear in your Members' Individual Action Logs (available in their individual profile under "Members" > "List").
FAQ:
When does the Cancellation Complete action trigger fire?
The Cancellation Complete action will happen at the end of your member's current billing cycle, so they will continue to have access to the product until that point!
