If you're using Flodesk as your email service provider, you now have the ability to add a tag in Actions to help organize your subscribers in Flodesk!
Quick terminology clarification: What we call "tags" in MemberVault is what Flodesk calls "segments". So if you're a Flodesk user, then anytime you see us mention "tags" you can safely assume this means "segments" in Flodesk.
To add a tag/segment, do the following:
Make sure that Flodesk is successfully connected under "Integrations" >"Emails." This article has all the steps if you need them.
Go to the product in MemberVault where you want to add the tag (You can also set up email consent tags under "Members" > "Actions").
Scroll to the bottom of the page in your product edit settings to the Actions section.
Add a new Action. Below is an example of one type of action you might use:
"When this Happens": "Added to Product" > "Any"
"Do this...": "Add a Tag" > "Insert your tag/segment name here"
You do not need to create the segment separately in Flodesk. This segment will automatically create in Flodesk the first time the Action fires in MemberVault.
In Flodesk you can view all of the Segments you've created and see how many subscribers are in each Segment under "Segments" in your Flodesk Dashboard.
You can also see which segments an individual contact has under "Subscribers."
You can use Segments to trigger automated welcome emails, or other emails and workflows within Flodesk based off of specific Member behavior in your MemberVault account (i.e. completing a product, selecting a certain answer in a multiple choice quiz question, earning X number of EP etc).
