You can offer Apple Pay as a payment option to your members through our Stripe Integration! If you have previously set up Apple Pay with the Stripe account you have connected to your MemberVault account, then this should automatically show up in your Stripe checkout screen.
You can check if Apple Pay is already enabled in your checkout process by starting a test purchase (no need to complete it). Here's how:
Copy your direct purchase link from any paid product and paste this into another tab in your browser.
Fill in your name and email, then select "Credit/Debit Card" for the payment type and click the box to agree to your Terms.
Click the Pay button. This will redirect you to Stripe's hosted checkout page.
The Apple Pay button will appear at the top of the screen above where your customer would enter in their card details.
How to Enable Apple Pay in Stripe
If you don't see the payment option you're looking for on your Stripe Checkout screen, you may need to enable it in your Stripe account.
Log into your Stripe Dashboard.
Click the Gear Icon to open your Settings. This is located in the top right corner of your Stripe dashboard, and in the dropdown menu in the top left corner under your Stripe account name.
Under Settings, scroll down to Product Settings > Payments.
Click Payment methods.
Select the Payment configuration connected with your MemberVault account to manage the payment types you offer there. The Payment configuration name can be different for each Stripe account, so this could be named "MemberVault," "Default" or something else.
Scroll down the list of icons until you see "Apple Pay." When you hover on this line, you'll see an "Enable" button appear. Follow the prompts in Stripe to enable this!
Stripe's Help Center can provide additional troubleshooting steps if you do not see Apple Pay as an option in your Stripe screen.
