Quiz questions and comments are two fantastic strategies to increase engagement in your account and learn more about your users. So when should you use one vs. the other?

If you're looking to collect private information between you and your user, use quiz questions.

Some sample situations include:

  • Collecting personal or sensitive information from your users

  • Journal entries

  • Answers to questions that are more for your internal benefit (i.e. collecting feedback on a course) and less for the benefit of all your users

If you want to create more community where your users can talk to one another and see everyone's response, then comments are the way to go.

Some sample situations could be:

  • Chat forums

  • Meet and Greet among your students

  • Collaboration and sharing ideas in a group
