ActiveCampaign is our recommended email service for integrating with MemberVault - we love it so much that it’s the email tool we use, too!

In fact, when we set out to create MemberVault, ActiveCampaign was the benchmark email service that we used for all relative testing and it still is. So in a sense, MV was built to integrate with ActiveCampaign above all other email services.

But why do we love ActiveCampaign?

Well, first off, their interface and navigation are incredibly intuitive making for a strong and efficient user experience and typically speaking, a quick learning curve for new users.

Their automation builder, which will be very important to complement your MV use, displays your automation steps in a flow chart format which is perfect for anyone who is a visual learner and planner.

ActiveCampaign’s ability to segment your contacts based on tags, lists and actions they’ve taken (or not taken) makes it incredibly easy for you to target your emails to the right people. This ties in beautifully with MV’s focus on engagement tracking and gamification.

And to use ActiveCampaign with MemberVault, all you need is their Lite Plan - which in our opinion is priced well for all of the features and abilities offered. The Lite Plan offers you all the functionality you’ll ever need to use MV & ActiveCampaign together well.

Downsides of ActiveCampaign?

Honestly, there aren’t many that come to mind. The biggest thing might be the fact that it’s “too much” for some people.

If you are just starting out with email marketing and offering digital content online, it’s very possible that you might find ActiveCampaign a bit intimidating given that it’s a rather robust tool.

There’s a lot to learn when you start diving into email marketing and automation and if learning new online tools can be a bit of a struggle for you, the learning curve might be a bit more than you want to take on.
