How Do I Temporarily Suspend Access to a Product but Maintain the User's Progress?

Perhaps one of your member's payments have failed and you wish to temporarily suspend their access without them losing their progress in your product.

When you remove a member's access to a product, they will not lose their progress and will pick up where they left off once they have regained access.

To remove a member's access:

  1. Go to "Members" > "List" in your admin dashboard.

  2. Select the member whose access you wish to edit by clicking the pencil and paper icon to the right of their name.

  3. Scroll down until you see the Products Bar, and click this to expand the product view.

  4. Uncheck the box next to the product you're removing access to.

  5. Click "Save Member" below your products list (this is one of the few changes that requires a hard save aka clicking an actual button to save your changes rather than anywhere on the screen).

You can manually re-add the member by re-checking the box once you see the payment successfully resume.

Alternatively, or you can send your user a note to let them know you have temporarily removed access to the product and they can repurchase it to resume their subscription. Having them repurchase with the same email address they used to initially sign up will automatically resume their access.
