How Can I Save a User's Place in my Videos so They Can Resume Watching from a Previous Session?

At times you may have long videos in your lessons that your users can't watch in one sitting. And in these cases, it's nice if they can pick up in your video directly where they left off.

Unfortunately, MV doesn't have any control over this with embedded videos.

Since the videos aren't hosted in MemberVault and we don't control the video player, we are unable to resume videos where users left them.

YouTube and some other video hosting services offer this feature, so you could explore if the video hosting service you use has this feature and how to implement it in your MemberVault account it they do.

Another possible solution would be to add timestamps into the lesson text below your videos (which you can often grab really quickly from the transcript on Loom, Vimeo, etc) for easier navigation!
