You may have set up your Mailchimp integration with MV correctly but find that whenever you try to add users manually to your MV account, they are not added to your Mailchimp email list.

To resolve this, first make sure that you select a Mailchimp list to add your users to for each product.

It is important to note that whenever you add users manually to your account, MailChimp doesn't know that your users have given consent to be on your list, so it won't automatically add a user to your Mailchimp list unless they sign up on their own through purchasing your product or unless you add them to your MailChimp audience first, then add them to MV.

This is in place due to the wide variety of privacy laws, so though you have an MV action that should tag your user any way that they are added to the product, in this case there does need to be a contact record already created.

So, if you add the user to Mailchimp before manually adding them to your MV account, the issue should be resolved.
