Rolling Drip is the newest type of dripped product you can offer in MemberVault (for a comparison of product types, go here). Here we'll discuss what Rolling Drip is, and how to set it up!

In short, Rolling Drip products allow you to release your modules over a set period of time (i.e. once a month, once a week, etc). This is essentially the same as a Date Drip product. However, in Rolling Drip you can prevent new members joining your product from seeing content you've released in previous months etc, whereas in Date Drip anyone joining your product can see all available modules released for the entire product.

This is ideal for ongoing monthly memberships where you want people to only see the modules for the months where they joined.

The Set Up:

To make a Rolling Drip product, add a new product and select "Rolling Drip" from the dropdown menu next to "Type":

Add your first module, then in the module settings select the date when you want your content to become available.

You can add multiple modules and schedule their release dates to a future date, or just add the one for now depending on your personal preference!

Explaining Member Access:

In our example, we have two modules set to release one month apart:

A member who joins your product on March 1 2024 will have access to March's module, and then April's when it releases on April 1.

A member who joins your product on April 5 2024 will have access to April's module, but not March's.

If you have content in your product that you'd like everyone to be able to access regardless of when they joined your product, you can set up a Bonus Module for this. Set the drip date to a date in the past or the present date, and set the EP To Unlock at 0 -- as soon as someone joins your product, they'll automatically unlock the Bonus Module.

On Module Order:

If you would like to change the order of your modules so that more recent modules appear at the top of your product, you can do so! Our system will now recognize who can access which modules based on the date they joined, so moving the module order around will not affect this.
