Marketing Leads allow you to monitor industry-related conversations and customer intent, not just mentions of your brand. These keywords are added inside Mention Trackers, in the special section called "Marketing Leads".
Below you’ll find a step-by-step process for adding a Marketing Leads keyword.
Step 1: Locate the Marketing Leads Tracker
Go to your Dashboard.
Go to the Mention Trackers Box.
Inside it, you will see the section labeled: Marketing Leads
This is where you can monitor phrases related to:
Industry trends
Niche keywords
Customer intent
And other relevant phrases that will help you capture conversations that might be interesting for your brand to know, participate in, and find potential buyers.
Step 2: Add a Mention Tracker first
Mention trackers are necessary, and they exist for organizational purposes; think of them as folders.
Step 3: Click “Add Keyword”
A new field will open where you can type the phrase you want to monitor.
Examples (airline industry):
cheap flight tickets
flight deals Europe
delayed flight refund
last minute flights
This becomes your Marketing Leads keyword.
Step 4: Add Variations (Optional)
You can add more natural language variations using the OR operator.
Example:
UK OR United Kingdom
This helps you capture more mentions and discover further market demand.
Step 5: Add Required Keywords (AND Operator)
Use required keywords if you want to focus on a specific region or context.
Example
Keyword: cheap flight
Required keyword: Tickets AND UK
This brings only mentions that include both terms.
Step 6: Add Excluded Keywords (Optional)
Use this field when your results include unrelated topics.
Examples of excluding keywords for airline leads:
Black Friday
Pay now
Step 7: Test & Save
Click Test Query to ensure the keyword brings relevant results.
If everything looks correct, click Save.
Your Marketing Leads keyword will now begin to bring mentions in real time.
