Upgrade to Paige's New Report Version

Paige's reporting technology has recently been upgraded free of charge to provide significantly more detailed insights and value than our legacy reporting system.

Written by Justin Silverman

If your business was onboarded to Paige before this new reporting technology was released on June 8th 2026, you can request to have your account migrated to the new version. Once your migration is complete, within 3 days of requesting it, all future reports will use the new reporting engine and include the additional data it provides.

Important: The new reporting system does not convert your old reports. Once your account has been migrated, only reports generated afterward will contain the new data.

Good news: This upgrade is completely free for all Paige users.

Why Upgrade?

The new reporting engine gives you much deeper insight into your local search performance, especially when it comes to understanding your competitors.

It is also required for the Competition tab inside your Paige account. The Competition tab relies on the new reporting technology and cannot function using data from the legacy reporting system.

What Happens After the Upgrade?

Once your account has been migrated:

  • Your next generated report will begin using the new reporting technology.

  • As soon as that report finishes, the Competition tab will begin displaying competitor analysis data.

  • Some Competition tab features, such as Momentum, compare data between multiple reports. Because of this, you'll need a second report to be generated with the upgraded reports before those historical comparison features become available.

This means you'll start seeing competitor insights after your first report, while trend-based metrics will automatically populate after enough reporting history has been collected.

How to Request the Upgrade

If you'd like us to migrate your account to the new reporting version, simply complete the migration request form below.

After submitting your request:

  1. Our development team will review your migration request.

  2. Please allow up to five business days for the migration to be completed.

  3. Once the migration is finished, all newly generated reports will begin using the new reporting technology.

  4. Reports generated before the migration will remain unchanged and will continue using the legacy data.

Agency Users

If you're an agency, the new reporting version also lets you customize the appearance of your clients' heat map reports.

You can personalize things like:

  • Heat map styles

  • Ranking color ranges

This allows your reports to better match your agency's brand while still taking advantage of the new reporting technology. Before changing your heat map styles, we recommend reading our detailed guide on this feature.

That article explains how style changes work, what happens to historical reports, and how to avoid inconsistent before-and-after comparisons.

Small Business Users

If you're using Paige for your own business (not as an agency), you don't need to worry about customizing report styles or colors. The migration simply upgrades you to the newer reporting technology so future reports can include enhanced competitor information, power the Competition tab, and support future reporting improvements.
