Mercu seamlessly integrates with Jotform, allowing you to create and deliver web forms effortlessly through Mercu while receiving submissions as PDFs directly within the platform.

A common use case is digitising paper-based application forms, streamlining data collection and reducing manual processes.

Here's a video outlining the set-up and experience:

Enabling up your Jotform integration in Mercu

If you want to collect candidate details through a seamless web form experience, Jotform is the perfect solution.

To enable the Jotform integration in your Mercu account, contact us through your Account Manager or Intercom. Depending on your Mercu plan, you may need to use your own Jotform account, or we can onboard you to ours for your web form needs.

If you're using your own Jotform account, you need to create an API key (scope: Full Access) and share it with us. This allows us to integrate your Mercu account with your Jotform account. Here's a link on how to create an API key in Jotform.

Sending your Jotform via Mercu

Once we enable your Jotform integration, you can send Jotforms via Mercu. To do this, you need to do two things:

  1. Set up your form in Jotform;

  2. Add an Integration module linked to the Jotform in Mercu.

A) Setting up your form in Jotform

To make your Jotform work seamlessly with Mercu, you need to add two hidden variables to the form in Jotform.

Please note that without setting these two hidden variables, the Jotform integration with Mercu doesn't work properly!

To set up the hidden variables, please follow these steps:

I) Hidden variable 1: enrolment_id

1. Add a 'Long text' field to your form

2. On the 'General' tab set 'Field Label' to 'enrolment_id'

3. On the 'Advanced' tab enable 'Read Only', enable 'Hide field', and set 'Unique Name' to 'enrolment_id'

4. Scroll down on the 'Advanced' tab to 'Field Details' and set the 'Unique Name' to 'enrolment_id'

II) Hidden variable 2: redirect_url

Follow the same steps as for 'enrolment_id' above.

III) Set up thank you page

1. Go to the 'Thank You Page' settings

2. Add the 'redirect_url' to the 'Enter URL' field

3. Follow this format: https://{redirect_url}

B) Adding an Integration module linked to the Jotform in Mercu

Once you set up your form in Jotform, you can link it to your campaign in Mercu. To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the job stage to which you want to add the Jotform

2. Click on 'Edit' campaign

3. Click on 'Integrations' (1) and select 'Jotform' (2)

4. Copy the Jotform ID from Jotform (see below)

5. Paste the Jotform ID into the Mercu UI

If the Jotform ID is valid, Mercu will display a green checkmark. Otherwise, it will notify you that the Jotform ID is invalid.

6. Review the pre-populated body and button text. This is the message sent to the candidate when delivering the Jotform. Clicking the button will open the Jotform.
