Allocate a berth to a booking request to ensure a seamless experience for your Boaters.

Overview

Allocating a berth is crucial for ensuring a smooth experience for boaters. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to enhance operational efficiency and boater satisfaction.


Step 1: Navigate to the booking Request


Let's get started by navigating to the Requests and clicking on the Request we want to proceed with:

πŸ’‘ To find a Request you just created, simply sort all requests by 'Created' to see the most recent ones on the top.


Step 2: Allocate the Berth


Once navigated to the correct booking request, let us now click on 'Berth Allocation' in to select the appropriate berth for this request:

As you can see in the screenshot below, our algorithm automatically fills out all provided information for the berth allocation.

All that is left to do is selecting 'Search' and the algorithm will present the most suitable berths for the request in order:

To speed up your process, we already pre-select the most fitting option. Feel free to also choose a different berth depending on your and the boaters preferences.

Finally, press 'Add' to finalize the berth allocation:

And that's it - the berth was successfully allocated! πŸŽ‰

If you need to free the berth again, or make any changes, click on the allocated berth and delete the allocation by clicking on the small red 'X' on the right-hand side:

Now, let's navigate back to our Request overview by clicking on 'Request number XXX' on the top left:
