Overview

Learn how to empower your boaters to share their absences and manage subrental availabilities.

Step 1: Navigate to the Subrental space

First, let's navigate to 'Occupancies' in the main menu:

Here we can see an overview of all currently shared Absences of your boaters.

On the right side, you can find Notes and Instructions, the boater shared with you.

๐Ÿ’ก In case there is a sudden change of plans and the berth needs to be blocked for the boater, or for any other reasons, click on 'Blocked' to exclude the berth from the berth allocation:

โ—๏ธ Our intelligent berth allocation system automatically includes the Subrental availabilities, so you don't have to allocate them manually.

Step 2: Enable absence sharing for your boaters

To enable Boaters to share their absences and make their berth available for subrental, we first need to navigate to the 'Customers' view:

Here, you can either directly search for the desired customer, or look for 'Owner' or 'Renter' in our database:

Once found, click on the customer:

From here, we will continue to navigate to 'Subrental Permission' as shown in the screenshot below:

Step 3: Manage Subrental Permissions

On the right side, you can now add new berths, where the boater will be able to share their absences.

๐Ÿ’ก We will only show Berths that the boater owns or is renting at the moment. If you want to make changes to that, follow this Article:

On the left side, you can remove the given permissions, as well as manually adding Availabilities for the boaters berth's:
