Overview
Efficiently manage your document requests with our streamlined process, designed to enhance compliance and reduce manual efforts. This guide outlines the key steps to effectively request and collect necessary documents from boaters through our system.
Step 1: Select a Booking or a Request
On the Dashboard, we find the 'Departures & Arrivals' section.
As those are the boaters, that will need to check in soon, let us select one of those bookings to demonstrate how to request documents from boaters:
Of course, you can select any other Request or Booking through the 'Requests' or 'Bookings' menu.
Step 2: Navigate to the Boaters profile
Once on the booking, scroll down a little to see the 'Boater Information' section:
From here, click on 'View ... Profile' to get to the Boaters profile.
Step 3: Check uploaded documents
Now that we are on the boaters Profile, let's first have a look at the documents that may be already uploaded.
For that, please scroll down on the landing page, to see the 'Documents for ...' section:
In this case, our customer has already uploaded their Personal Insurance Document, let's keep that in mind in the next step, when we request additional documents.
Step 4: Select Boaters access
Now let's scroll back up and select the 'Boaters Access' subpage:
Step 5: Request necessary documents
Once on the Boaters Access page, two things can occur. Either the Boater has already activated their Metarina Account, or the activation is still outstanding.
→ Option 1: Activation still outstanding
In this case, we can not yet request the boaters documents.
Instead, let us invite the boater again to activate his account:
→ Option 2: Account is activated
If the boaters account is already activated, we can now request the missing documents for the check in.
For that, select 'Prepare to send the email' on the bottom right:
In the next step, select all documents that you require for the Check in.
💡 As the boater already uploaded the Personal insurance document, let's not request that twice.
Next, select the necessary documents for the Boat, that you require and finally press 'Send Email':
