📛 How to Waitlist or Decline a Booking Request

Overview

Managing pending booking requests is key in the busy world of marina operations. Whether you're adding a request to a waitlist or need to decline one, the process should be smooth and simple. This guide will show you how to handle these requests efficiently.


Step 1: Navigate to the Requests Section


Let's get started by navigating to the Requests and clicking on the Request we want to proceed with:


Step 2: Open the Dropdown Menu


On the request details page, you'll encounter a button called 'Request Payment to Confirm' (on the top right) with a dropdown menu next to it. This menu holds the key to managing the request efficiently.


Step 3: Decide the Action


Within the dropdown menu, you'll find 5 options, including: Decline Request or Waitlist Request.

Whether it's declining due to unavailability or adding to the waitlist for future availability, make the decision that best serves your objectives.

💡 When you click on one of the options, you can choose to send a notification to the boater. Decide whether to notify the boater, then confirm the action.
