Logging a Drop-off is an important, and often the final step when using Milk Moovement. After you (or another Driver) has logged a Pickup in Milk Moovement for the Route, the option to log a Delivery will become available.
This will send a record of the volume of Milk delivered to a Processor/ Plant, and will allow other Milk Moovement users to see this in real time!
After starting a Scheduled Route, New Route, or Existing Route, you will be brought to the ‘Actions’ screen. Here, you will see the Route Number and LT at the top of the screen. The ‘Actions’ button will be in the middle, and Drop Trailer/ Close Route will be at the bottom. The steps below will walk you through how to add a Delivery/ Drop-off to your route:
To begin, tap the ‘Actions’ button in the middle of the screen.
You will be prompted with a few options on this screen; to log your Drop-off, select the 'Delivery' option
Select the Processor your load is being delivered to, then click the blue ‘Next’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Search for a Processor by clicking the search bar at the top of the screen and typing their name. Alternatively, you can scan the processor’s barcode using your smartphone’s camera by clicking the barcode button located in the top right corner of your screen.
The Processor will be automatically selected for you once you arrive if you’ve enabled Location Services for Milk Moovement.
Select either 'Scaled' or 'Metered' for your drop-off type and either either the Gross weight or simply hit ‘Next’ depending on the drop-off type.
Once the pump-off has been completed. Tap the ‘Compartment’ dropdown to select which compartment you’ll be offloading and enter appropriate weights for your Dropoff type, attach needed slips, and leave any necessary comments.
Please Note - At this stage, if your load has been diverted, you can hit the back button in the top left-hand side, select to delete the dropoff, and redo step 1
Next, there is the option to Drop Load ( which will save your progress but not submit the Dropoff or Submit to finish up
7. Once your Drop-off is logged, you will be returned to the Actions screen; if the amount of dairy delivered is the same as the amount that was picked up, the total dairy in the tanker will show as "0" and you will be able to "Close Route".
Note- you may temporarily see a second delivery that says IN PROGRESS on this screen, just wait! That is simply data syncing.
8. Use the Close Route button to finalize your Route details, and prevent yourself or other Drivers from making changes.
