Overview
In this help guide we will cover the delivery notification options for Royal Mail courier services within Mintsoft.
Checking existing services
If you would like to check which notification is enabled on your Royal Mail courier service(s), please follow the below steps:
Click Shipping Management then Extras.
Click on Courier Service Code Mappings.
Search for the service(s) you want to check.
Look at the Extra code 3 section on the mapping.
If Extra code 3 is populated with 13, 14 or 16 then a notification is enabled.
SMS Notification = 13.
Email Notification = 14.
SMS and Email Notifications = 16.
Add Notification to Service(s)
If you would like to add a notification option to your Royal Mail courier service(s), please follow the below steps:
Click Shipping Management then Extras.
Click Courier Service Codes.
Search for the service(s) you want to update.
Click Edit on the service you want to add notification options to.
In the Extra code 3 field enter either 13, 14 or 16 depending on which notification type you want.
SMS Notification = 13.
Email Notification = 14.
SMS and Email Notifications = 16.
Finally, click Update.
