Overview
The Access Mintsoft app includes a Text-to-Speech feature that provides audio guidance while using app functions. Additionally, the app can play a success or failure chime to indicate the outcome of an action.
Text-to-Speech Functionality
This feature reads aloud instructions for tasks such as:
Scanning a location or product.
Scanning an order or batch.
Scanning an ASN.
Scanning a carton or pallet.
Enabling/ disabling Text to Speech
Please follow the steps below to enable/ disable the Text to Speech feature on the Access Mintsoft app:
Within the Access Mintsoft app, select the three lines in the top left corner.
Select Audio Settings.
Enable or disable Text to Speech.
Changing the Text to Speech language settings
To change the Language, Speech rate and Pitch of the Text to Speech function, please do the following:
Select Settings.
Select Accessibility then Text-to-speech output.
Tap Language to select your preferred language, then adjust Speech rate and Pitch by moving the slider to the left or right.
For example, you can change the speech voice (Language) from English UK to English US.
Successful/ failed scan chime
You can configure a chime to play when you have a successful and/ or failed scan by following the steps below:
Within the Access Mintsoft app, select the three lines in the top left corner.
Select Audio Settings.
Enable or disable Scan success chime.
Enable or disable Scan fail chime.
