There are two different processes to add a IOSS number in Mintsoft depending on your database.

3PL Database

If you are a 3PL Database setting this up on behalf of a 3PL Client, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click Clients then Overview.

  2. Find the client.

  3. Click Actions then Edit.

  4. Click the Customs Information tab.

  5. Add the IOSS Number.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Repeat for other clients.

Multichannel Database

If you are a multi-channel database, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings then Client Settings.

  2. Click the Customs Information tab.

  3. Add the IOSS Number.

  4. Click Save.

Example IOSS Format

Every IOSS number is a total of 12 digits. It should always start with β€˜IM’ and then be followed with 10 numbers with no spaces, e.g. IM0123456789.

IOSS Logic

The following logic applies regarding IOSS Numbers:

  • If IOSS is on the Order / API upload - Use the ExtraInfo IOSS Field.

    • IF NOT.

  • Use the IOSS number captured in the Channel Mapping (More information about this below).

    • IF NOT.

  • Use the IOSS field that is on the Connection Field as captured by the User (for example Amazon).

    • IF NOT.

  • Use the IOSS field if it has a Hardcoded Value.

    • IF NOT.

  • Use the IOSS number that the User captured in the Edit Client Screen.

To add the IOSS number for an Order Channel please follow the IOSS Channel Mapping article.
