Manually generate a manifest

To generate a manifest for Royal Mail shipments, please do the following:

  1. Click Connect then Courier Integrations.

  2. Click the Premium tab then click Royal Mail via Intersoft.

  3. Click Manifests against the required account.

  4. Finally, click Create Manifest.

    • You can then print the paperwork.


Automatically generate a daily manifest

To automatically generate the manifest daily, please do the following:

  1. Click Connect then Courier Integrations.

  2. Click the Premium tab then click Royal Mail via Intersoft.

  3. Click Edit against the required account.

  4. Then turn on Schedule Daily Manifest Creation.

  5. Enter the Manifest Creation Time.

  6. Type an email for the Email Manifests To.

  7. Finally, click Update.


Generating a manifest on Saturday and Sunday

If Royal Mail collects from you at the weekends you can enable ShipOnSaturday and/or ShipOnSunday within Customer Account Settings. Without this enabled, any shipments you do would be on Monday's manifest. To enable these options, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings then CustomerAccountSettings.

  2. Click the Shipping tab.

  3. Next, activate ShipOnSaturday and/or ShipOnSunday based on the days you dispatch shipments.

  4. Finally, click Save.

You will receive an error (Error From Intersoft:Error Code:E1323 Description:No valid shipments found) if you do not enable these toggles but attempt to generate a manifest on the weekend.

Royal Mail Manifest - FAQ

Unable to generate a manifest past a certain time

If you are unable to create a manifest after a certain time, please check the settings by following these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the top right of the page.

  2. Click on Customer account settings then click the Shipping tab.

  3. Check the Latest Time Courier Can Collect Parcels field.

  4. If you want to create a manifest after the time stated in the field, change the time to what you require.

  5. Furthermore, any orders marked as despatched after the time stated in the Latest Time Courier Can Collect Parcels will appear on the next day's manifest.

Generating a manifest per warehouse

If you want separate manifests for different warehouses, then you will need to have an account per warehouse. You won't be able to use the same account across multiple connections if you wish to manifest for each warehouse separately.

Note: If you want to have different collection times for different warehouses or multiple collection times for one warehouse. Please contact your Royal Mail account manager. as this cannot be set up within Mintsoft.
