Overview

Access Analytics allows you to report on data with greater detail than Mintsoft's standard reporting. It enables you to create Data Views and Insights, providing the specific data you require. Access Analytics is available to customers on Access Evo and offers two editions: Standard and Professional. Access analytics is a separate product to Mintsoft. Below are some frequently asked questions regarding Analytics.


How can I get to Access Analytics?

  1. Click the Access Button located in the top left corner of Mintsoft

  2. Next, click Analytics.

What are Data Views?

Data Views are tabular structures of data used for creating Insights. Every Insight in Analytics is connected to a Data View.

What are Insights?

Insights are core Analytics components, representing the visual illustration of data and providing valuable information for users to understand their business.

When is data synchronised between Mintsoft and Analytics?

Data between Mintsoft and Access Analytics is updated once every morning usually between 2am and 4am GMT.

What benefits are there to using Analytics instead of standard reporting?

Mintsoft provides a variety of standard reports that are integrated into the system. In contrast, Access Analytics enables users to delve into specific data areas, offering both detailed insights at a granular level and a comprehensive overview. Additionally, using analytics enables you to customise the data shown and create data links between reports to create a merged view.

How can I see the sync history?

To see the sync history between Data Engine/ Analytics and Mintsoft, please do the following:

  1. Click Data Engine.

  2. Click the three lines in the top left to open the side menu.

  3. Next, click Schedule History.

  4. This will show the Start Date/Time as well as the Status of each sync.
