Overview
There may be a time when a warehouse needs to be deleted from Mintsoft. You can only delete a warehouse if you have never booked stock into it, or placed orders against it, the reason for this is to keep an audit trail of stock movements etc.
If you want to remove a warehouse that's been used, it would be best to make it inactive instead.
Deleting a warehouse
To delete a warehouse from Mintsoft, please follow the steps below:
Click Warehouse then Manage Warehouses.
Click Delete against the warehouse you want to remove.
If you are unable to delete the warehouse, please make it inactive instead by following the steps below.
Making a warehouse Inactive
If you are no longer using a warehouse and do not want any goods to be assigned to it anymore you can make it inactive.
To make a warehouse inactive, please follow the steps below:
Click Warehouse, then Manage Warehouses.
Click Edit against the warehouse you want to make inactive.
Switch the Active Toggle to Off.
Select Save.
Making A Warehouse Active
Reactivating a Warehouse must be done by the support team. To reactivate a warehouse that was previously made inactive, please raise a support case online and reference the title of this article.
