This article explains how to configure your warehouse in Mintsoft and manage warehouse contact details. The contact details on an ASN are taken from the warehouse details page of the warehouse the ASN is being booked into.
Configure your warehouse
To configure your Mintsoft warehouse and update the options:
Click Warehouse then click Manage Warehouses.
Click Edit against the warehouse you want to manage.
There are three tabs within this page -
General.
Reference Fields.
Proactive Replen Sources.
Within the General tab you can configure the following options -
Client (3PL only): Select if this warehouse is specific to a client or keep it as ALL.
Name: Enter the name of your warehouse as it will appear in Mintsoft.
Code: Enter a short name used in reporting.
Details: Add a description of the warehouse use.
Active: Set the warehouse as active or inactive.
Allow Transfers In: Enable stock transfers from another warehouse into this warehouse.
Allow Allocated and Quarantine Transfers: Enable allocated and quarantined stock to be transferred to another location.
Allow Unassigned Locations: Enable the use of unassigned locations in your warehouse.
Allocate Priority: Choose either 'Location Type Priority then Best Before Date' or 'Best Before Date then Location Type Priority'.
Include Allocated Stock In Replen Point: Include allocated stock when viewing the replen point in a Replen Task or Replenishment.
Prepend Warehouse Name To Location Names: When enabled, the warehouse name appears at the start of the location name on the despatch note.
Verify Locations When Mobile Picking: When enabled, pickers must verify the location when mobile picking.
Stop Despatched Orders Being Cancelled: When enabled, orders can't be cancelled once despatched from that warehouse.
Reverse Shelf Sorting on Warehouse Map: When enabled, bays appear at the top of the warehouse map. When disabled, bays appear at the bottom.
Generate Stock Out Events: When enabled, an entry appears in Stock Flow when booking stock out (shown as OUT flow).
Type: Select the warehouse type. The default is Normal.
You can change it to Bonded or FBA if required.
Bonded warehouses are used for the Descartes E-Customs integration on Mintsoft.
Click Save to apply the changes to your warehouse.
Note: Some changes like 'Allow Transfer In' or 'Reverse Shelf Sorting on Warehouse Map' can take up to 15 minutes to apply.
Reference Fields tab
The Reference Fields tab lets you add custom key-value pairs per warehouse for different integration platforms (Amazon, Shopify, Magento, etc.). This helps store platform-specific metadata like API keys, external IDs, or config values per warehouse.
Set the following attributes:
Connection: The integration (Amazon, eBay etc.)
Name: To identify the information.
Value: The custom value you wish to store.
Click Add to save the reference field.
