The following information applies to the Cartons and Pallets additional paid module in Mintsoft.

Create an ASN with cartons and pallets

  1. Go to Warehouse then ASNs.

  2. Click Create New ASN.

  3. Enter the relevant ASN details then click Next.

  4. On the Manage ASN page, select the relevant SKUs from the dropdown.

  5. Enter the SSCC number or leave the field blank if you don't know it yet.

  6. Click Confirm then Receive.

  7. On the Receive Goods Actions page, scan your SSCC or GS1 number.

  8. Click the Scan button to populate the carton and pallet details in the items section.

Note: You can only amend SSCC and GS1 numbers when the ASN status is AWAITINGDELIVERY.

Use SSCC barcodes

You can use SSCC barcodes in Mintsoft in two ways:

  • If you supply the SSCC ID on the ASN before receipt, scan the SSCC ID once to fully receive the associated product lines.

  • If you don't supply the SSCC ID before receipt, you can still use it as your internal pallet ID to track pallets through the warehouse. First scan the product, then select the option to create a new pallet and scan the SSCC as your pallet ID.

Scanning a GS1 or SSCC barcode helps you receive ASNs faster.

Assign locations

On the Assign locations screen, you can:

  • Create a new carton or pallet record and assign it directly to a location

  • Book the ASN into an existing carton or pallet

After you book in the ASN, all items on the carton or pallet automatically move to the selected location. The storage item record becomes visible on the Carton and Pallets Overview.

When you create a carton during the ASN process, you can select a pallet to book the carton into and choose the location for your incoming stock. When you create a pallet, you can only select a location to book it into.
