This error (We are unable to generate labels for FedEx - Error Code: 6064 - Total commodities weight is greater than package or shipment weight) from FedEx typically occurs due to a discrepancy between the total product weight and the order weight or when the weight data from the Order Channel differs from what is shown on Mintsoft. Additionally, this error can be caused by excessive decimal places in the product weight, as FedEx only accepts up to three decimal places.
To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:
Check if the total product weight correctly matches the order weight.
Ensure that product weights do not exceed three decimal places.
Example:
Product 1: 0.114kg → Change to 0.11kg.
Product 2: 0.095kg → Change to 0.10kg or 0.09kg.
Once the weight is corrected, update the order in Mintsoft:
Click Orders then Overview.
Find and tick the order.
Select Recalculate Order Weight from the Bulk Actions drop down.
Finally, click Go.
