Yes, Agents can be configured to access and utilize data from your active Connectors (like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Microsoft Sharepoint, Outlook, GitHub, Box, Notion, Atlassian, Stripe, Linear, etc.) directly within le Chat.
This capability allows your custom Agents to perform tasks that involve your live, external data sources, such as searching documents, writing emails with a specific tone, or checking your calendar.
Granting your Agent access to Connectors
You can grant an Agent permission to use your Connectors during its initial creation or by modifying its settings later:
In the Agent configuration screen, navigate to the
Knowledge
sectionLocate the
Connectors
subsection where you will find options to select / deselect specificConnectors

Enable access to your Connectors

๐ In the same screen, you can authorize your Agent to use specific Tools (1) and enable access to your existing Libraries (3).
Limitations to consider
๐จ Please note that Agents can only access one type of data source at a time.
Knowledge Connectors (such as Google Drive or Microsoft SharePoint) are mutually exclusive at the moment, which means you can only use one Knowledge Connector per Agent.
Similarly, Libraries and Knowledge Connectors canโt be used together: selecting one will prevent you from selecting the other.
