Overview
The Pixels page in My Account displays pixel statuses and alerts to help monitor tracking and conversion activity.
Statuses and alerts help identify when:
Pixels are still processing
Measurement activity is active
Pixel activity may require attention
Go To Pixel Alerts and Statuses
To view statuses and alerts:
In the upper right corner of the platform, click My Account.
From the left navigation pane, click Pixel.
The Pixels page displays:
Pixel status
Alert banners
Last activity information
Pixel-specific event data
Alerts requiring action will also appear on your homepage.
Pixel Alerts
Alert banners may appear when the following is detected:
Unusual pixel activity: This alert may appear when MNTN detects changes or interruptions in expected pixel activity.
No pixel activity: This alert may appear when MNTN is unable to detect recent tracking or conversion activity.
When this occurs:
reporting metrics may stop updating
verification may be required
action may be required to restore tracking
Depending on the alert, you may be able to:
See pixel details: review additional information related to the selected alert or pixel.
Check connection: review whether MNTN can still detect your pixel installation.
Run verification: rerun the pixel verification process after updating or reviewing your installation.
Pixel Statuses
Pending
The pixel has been installed and is still processing or verifying.
đ Note: Reporting metrics won't yet be available during this stage.
Poor
Action is required to restore tracking.
We've detected an issue that may prevent measurement activity or reporting.
â ď¸ Warning: Reporting metrics may stop updating until the issue is resolved.
What to do next:
Review the alert banner displayed on your Pixel page and homepage
Click Check connection, if available
Run verification, if prompted
Review your installation setup in Google Tag Manager or Shopify
Fair
Additional review may be required.
Pixels are active, but MNTN detected reduced or inconsistent measurement activity.
â ď¸ Warning: Reporting activity may become delayed or inconsistent.
What to do next:
Review any alert banners displayed on your Pixel page and homepage
Click See pixel details for additional information
Verify that your pixel installation has not changed recently
Run verification, if prompted
Good
The pixel is active and measurement activity is being detected. Reporting data should continue populating normally.
When Statuses May Change
Pixel statuses may change over time based on:
Drops in site activity
Website and theme updates
Changes to your Google Tag Manager setup, such as updates to variables, triggers, or tag configurations associated with your MNTN tags
