Install MNTN Pixels with Shopify

Install MNTN pixels on Shopify to measure website visits and conversion activity in MNTN.

Overview

MNTN supports tracking and conversion pixel installation through Shopify.

After installation and verification, pixel metrics become available within reporting to help measure website visits and conversion activity.

Why it matters

Pixels help you:

  • Measure website visits and conversion activity

  • Access reporting metrics like visits, conversions, CPA, and ROAS

  • Better understand campaign performance

  • Monitor pixel activity directly from the Pixels page

Before You Begin

You must have a Shopify website to install MNTN Pixels with Shopify. Otherwise, you can Install MNTN Pixels with Google Tag Manager.

Steps

To complete this process, you'll work out of two browser tabs: the MNTN platform and the Shopify platform.

1. Start pixel setup in MNTN

  1. In the upper-right corner of the platform, click My Account > Settings.

  2. From the left navigation pane, click Pixel.

  3. Click the blue Install pixels → button.

  4. Click Shopify > Next: Install →.

  5. Click Go to Shopify.

    You'll be redirected to Shopify.

2. Finish pixel setup in Shopify

  1. From the Shopify app page, click Install.

  2. Log in to Shopify using your:

    • MNTN email

    • MNTN password

  3. Click Log in.

  4. Under Available advertisers, choose the desired MNTN account.

  5. In the Link to your store box, click Link.

  6. Click Enable.

    The Enable, then come back modal appears.

  7. Click Got it.

  8. In the left navigation pane, make sure the MNTN Tracking Pixel is toggled on.

  9. In the upper-right corner, click Save.

  10. From the left navigation pane, click MNTN Tracking Pixel to expand it.

  11. Under Steps to complete setup, click Manage app.

  12. Click Confirm.

  13. Click Return to MNTN.

Next Steps

After installation, your pixels appear on the Pixels page within My Account.

From there, you can:

  • Monitor pixel alerts and statuses

  • Review pixel activity

  • Identify when action may be required

Once reporting becomes available, pixel metrics appear in Reporting within the:

  • Site Visits tile

  • Conversions tile
