If you installed your MNTN pixel through the Shopify app and later customized your checkout flow using Checkout Extensibility or Shopify’s Checkout Editor, you’ll need to migrate your conversion pixel to ensure accurate tracking.
Follow the steps below to successfully migrate your conversion pixel and maintain precise performance tracking.
Steps to Migrate Your Shopify-Installed Conversion Pixel
💡Note: You will not need to complete these steps if you've already installed the custom conversion pixel snippet provided by a MNTN support team member.
1️⃣ Navigate to your Shopify account.
2️⃣ In the lower left-hand corner, select Apps.
3️⃣ Click MNTN from your dropdown of installed apps.
4️⃣ On the MNTN app page, look for the prompt: Using a customized Thank You and Order Status page? Click the Update Conversion Pixel button to migrate your pixel.
5️⃣ This action will also notify our team, who will review the changes and provide feedback if any adjustments are needed.
