Learn how to Import your media from TikTok.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

You can import your TikTok content directly into Moast to quickly add your videos to your library. This makes it easy to showcase your TikToks as shoppable videos on your store.

Step 1: Go to the Media Library

  1. In your Moast admin, go to the Media section.

  2. Click the “Add media” button.

  3. In the dropdown, select “Import from TikTok”

Step 2: Choose Your Import Method

There are a few ways to import TikTok content:

1. TikTok Handle URL: Paste your public TikTok profile URL to import your latest posts at once. You can choose how many posts to import—up to 48 at a time.

2. TikTok Video URL: Paste the URL of a specific TikTok to import just that video.

3. Profile Mentions: Import posts where someone has tagged your TikTok profile. This helps you find content from creators and customers posting about your brand.

4. Hashtags: Import posts using a TikTok hashtag. This is great for finding content that uses your brand’s hashtag.

Import Settings

When importing content, you have a few options to customize what comes into your Media Library:

  • You can import only videos if you prefer — this way, you can skip images when bringing in a bunch of posts.

  • Choose the number of posts to import per sync — up to 48 posts at a time. Just note that larger imports may take a bit longer to process.

Tips

  • You can import up to 48 posts at a time.

  • Larger imports may take longer to process.

  • Make sure your TikTok profile or content is public so Moast can access it.

Step 3: Save

  • Click 'Save', and your TikTok posts will be added to your media library.

📌 Note: Importing multiple posts can take some time. Using a handle URL, profile mentions, or hashtags will bring in all posts, and you can delete any you don’t want before adding them to your Moast library.

To delete a post before it's uploaded, simply hover over the thumbnail and click the "X". This will remove the video from your import list before it's added to your media library.
