Importing Media from TikTok

Learn how to Import your media from TikTok.

Updated over a week ago

With Moast, you can easily bring in content from TikTok to use in your shoppable video galleries and carousels. This allows you to showcase authentic posts from your account, your customers, or creators who mention your brand.

Step 1: Go to the Media Library

  1. In your Moast admin, go to the Media section.

  2. Click the “Add media” button.

Step 2: Select Add From TikTok

At the top, select Instagram as your import source. There are 4 ways to import content from Instagram:

  1. Instagram Handle URL: Paste your public TikTok profile URL to load your posts. You can scroll and load more content by clicking the “Load more” button at the bottom, this lets you go as far back in your profile history as you'd like.

You can then select exactly which posts you want to import using the checkboxes.

NOTE: You can only import up to 12 posts at a time for faster upload performance.

2. TikTok Video URL: Paste the URL of a specific TikTok to import just that video.

3. Profile Mentions: Import posts where someone else has tagged or mentioned your TikTok profile.

Great for pulling in creator posts or customer content you may have missed.

When using this method, you can choose how many posts to import (up to 48).

NOTE: If you need to go further back than the 48-post limit, send us a message through the chat bubble in the bottom right and we’ll help you import more.

4. Hashtags: Enter a hashtag to import posts that include it. Perfect for finding customer posts from branded or community hashtags.

Just like profile mentions, you can import up to 48 posts. (Need more? Message us in chat!)

Import Settings

When importing content, you have a few helpful options:

  • Import only videos: skip images when you only want video content.

  • Hide content in widgets: Import media but keep it hidden from showing in your widgets. You can show it in widgets later.

  • Choose the number of posts to import: up to 48 *depending on the method*.

  • Tag products during import: you can attach product tags (shoppable) before adding the media to your library, saving you time later.

Tips

  • Larger imports may take longer to process.

  • Make sure your TikTok profile or content is public so Moast can access it.

Step 3: Import Your Selected Posts

After selecting the posts you want to import, click “Save” and your TikTok content will be added to your media library.
